Liability
In a ruling dated 12 May 1998, Hamburg District Court ruled that a party providing hyperlinks may share responsibility for the content of the linked pages. The Court stated that this can only be avoided by expressly disassociating oneself from that content.
On our homepage we have installed links to other websites. The following applies to all these links:
The operator and webmaster explicitly declare that they have no influence whatsoever on the design and content of the linked pages. We therefore expressly disassociate ourselves from the entire content of all the pages to which our own homepage is linked, and we expressly do not adopt any of said content. This statement applies to all the links given on our homepage and to all the content on the pages to which the banners and links displayed on our homepage lead. We refuse to assume any liability whatsoever for the content of the linked pages.
